Among the many existing card games, Solitaire is one of the most popular due to the fact that you don't need a partner to play it. The computer revolution has brought electronic versions of the game, thus making it very popular among younger generations. The free version of this program features one of such electronic forms of the game, including four variations, namely Beleaguered Castle, Twenties, Pyramid and Gaps, each with its own set of rules. If you don't know how to play any of these variations, the game includes a useful Rules section that explains to you how to play it. An interesting feature is that you can save your game and resume it later. The program also stores your statistics in each game and shows the scores of different players. Also, if you have an active Internet connection, the program can upload these scores to the Internet for other players to see them. The game's graphics are very convincing, thus making the game very enjoyable.
The pay-based version of the program features dozens of different solitaire types. Also, the package includes versions for both Windows and Mac OS. If you want to play this game on your iPod, there is a version compatible with this device available at Apple's AppStore. |
